Work package 6

WP leader: Ana Djordjevic (IBISS)

Increasing IBISS`s sustainable networking, visibility and impact on national, regional and EU level

Work package 6 focuses on improving visibility and networking with the scientific community, stakeholders and industry. Networking with research organizations outside the Twinning partners and the Scientific Advisory Board will be stimulated through involvement in ongoing projects, membership in specialized societies and participation in Horizon Europe Network brokerage events. Dissemination of project results in the scientific community will be achieved through the planned high-impact open access publications, participation in international congresses and conferences and the organization of special national congress sessions. Organizational and communication skills will be endorsed through the interactive workshops and the spring school for PhD students and ESRs as well as the final conference, where both dissemination and communication of the project results are planned. Dissemination and outreach focusing on schoolchildren and the elderly will be achieved through school visits and presentations at popular science and health fairs. The BeAware part of the project aims to raise awareness of the need for population monitoring and early diagnosis of MASLD, to emphasize the importance of metabolic disease prevention as well as to increase the general public health literacy.

All STRIMHealth data and metadata will fulfill the standards of findability, accessibility, interoperability and reusability (FAIR principle). All data supporting the FAIR principle will be available to other researchers and health professionals for further analyses of the data beyond the end of the project. To that end, the data and metadata collected and generated within STRIMHealth will be deposited in Zenodo, a publicly accessible repository, and in RADaR, a repository operated by IBISS

Various personal patient data collected as part of the project, including clinical records and stool samples, will be protected in accordance with Serbian (Official Gazette of RS 87/2018) and EU regulations (General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679).
