The kick-off meeting took place on June 11 and 12, 2024 at the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković” – National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade (IBISS) in Belgrade, Serbia, and was attended by all IBISS participants and key representatives of the partner institutions. After the welcome by IBISS Deputy Director, Dr. Momir Paunović, and the short presentations of each STRIMHealth partner institution (Örebro University, Amsterdam University Medical Centers and Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon), the project coordinator, Dr. Nataša Veličković from IBISS, gave an overview of the project objectives, activities and timeline. The work package leaders and representatives of the participating institutions presented and discussed their ideas for the implementation of the assigned activities with the participants.
The meeting concluded with a round table at which a strategic analysis of the gaps in the research and management capacities of IBISS was carried out and the basis for a joint research agenda was defined.
