We are pleased to announce the 1st Training in Analytical Methods for Mass Spectrometry-based Lipidomics, which will take place at IBISS (Belgrade, Serbia) from September 30 to October 3, 2024.
The main topics of the training will be:
– General introduction to mass spectrometry (MS) in lipidomics
– Sample preparation for chemical analysis
– Target and non-target analyses with GC-MS and LC-MS
– Lipid identification and data analysis for targeted lipidomics
– General introduction to the operating principles and applications of LC-Orbitrap, quantification and data processing.
This training is primarily aimed at PhD students, postdocs and young scientists interested in lipidomics. The final program, application and selection details will be announced in mid-September. Stay tuned!
