Our PhD students, Sofija Ignjatović and Miloš Vratarić, are on a Short-Term Staff Exchange at the renowned Amsterdam UMC as part of our collaboration within STRIMHealth project.
During their stay, Sofija and Miloš focus on bioinformatics analysis of patient microbiota, working closely with the highly skilled bioinformatics team at Amsterdam UMC. After many hours of intensive data processing, the mission is starting to yield exciting and promising results that will contribute significantly to microbiome research.
Beyond their scientific achievements, the visit also offers a chance to experience the cultural charm of Amsterdam—from delicious local cuisine and world-class museums to the city’s iconic gardens.
