Within the activities of the STRIMHealth project and the Knowledge and Technology Transfer (KTT) Team of IBISS, in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon (FFUL), we are announcing the Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation Workshops, which will be held online on 19–20 February 2026.
The workshops, led by Prof. Cecília Rodrigues and her colleagues from FFUL, aim to strengthen innovation capacity, foster entrepreneurial skills, and enhance the translational research potential of researchers and young scientists.
The workshops are intended for researchers, PhD students, early-career scientists, and students interested in innovation, technology transfer, intellectual property management, and collaboration with industry.
Key topics include:
- Pitching scientific ideas and feedback session
- From research to innovation: pathways to impact
- Intellectual property fundamentals and protection strategies
- Translational funding opportunities (EU and national)
- Business model development in life sciences
- Industry–academia collaboration and open innovation
We believe that these workshops will significantly contribute to strengthening the innovation culture and translational capacity of researchers at IBISS and across the wider scientific community in Serbia.
