The STRIMHealth project consortium gathered for its Second Annual Meeting on June 9th 2026, hosted by the Institute for Biological Research Siniša Stanković (IBISS) in Belgrade, Serbia. The meeting brought together project partners and researchers to review project’s second year progress and discuss the forthcoming activities.
The participation of our guests from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, VINČA Institute of Nuclear Sciences and Institute for Medical Research augmented the outreach and impact of this meeting.
Dr. Nataša Veličković (IBISS) opened the event with a broad overview of the project’s achievements and key milestones reached during the reporting period. Throughout the day, work packages leaders presented progress across all work packages, highlighting scientific, managerial, training, innovation, and dissemination activities.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the second year of the project’s implementation and discuss the upcoming activities, including:
- Breakthroughs in metabolic disease research
- Strengthening of the collaborative scientific activities
- Achieved training & innovation programs
- Growing dissemination & communication reach
Researchers shared the latest results from the ongoing studies, while project partners highlighted activities aimed at strengthening the research excellence, international collaboration, and the long-term impact of the project.
The meeting concluded with discussions on future plans, upcoming deliverables, and opportunities for further collaboration, marking another important milestone in the successful implementation of STRIMHealth.
