On 21 November 2025, the Grant Office of Örebro University hosted an online training on Post-Award Research Project Management. The event gathered 40 participants, including researchers, project coordinators, and administrative and financial staff.
The workshop opened with remarks from Dr. Nataša Veličković, who emphasized the importance of effective post-award management for ensuring compliance and high-quality project implementation. The programme featured expert contributions from Helena Hansson-Nylund, Prof. Matej Orešič, and Katarina Höglund, covering key topics such as the Horizon Europe post-award framework, technical and financial reporting, amendment procedures, and audit preparation. Participants also engaged in an interactive project management exercise, which encouraged discussion of real-life challenges and best practices.
The workshop provided practical guidance for improving post-award processes and strengthening future project proposal development. Grant Office of the Örebro University and STRIMhealth IBISS team thanked all attendees for their active participation and contributions.
