We invite you to join one more of our workshops, Drug Screening Method Development, organized within the STRIMHealth project at the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković” (IBISS), in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon.
The workshop will take place on April 22–23, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00, at the IBISS library.
This two-day workshop will be led by Dr. Marta Afonso and Dr. Joana Amaral from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon, with the support of Prof. Cecilia Rodrigues and colleagues from their faculty.
The program will include:
• introduction to the drug discovery process
• principles of drug discovery
• examples of drug discovery for metabolic disease therapies
• high-throughput and medium-throughput drug discovery methodologies
• practical demonstration of drug discovery

This workshop is intended for researchers and students interested in translational biomedical research. The working language of the workshop is English, and participation requires prior registration.
